Hord Coplan Macht Sponsors "Most Likely to Become an Architect Award"

Frank J. Tamborino, a 7th Grader at the Boys Latin School of Maryland received the 2007 “Most Likely to Become an Architect Award” sponsored by Hord Coplan Macht. Boys Latin is an all boys independent school located in Baltimore serving grades K through 12. Each year, seventh graders at Boys Latin study architecture and landscape architecture in their arts program which includes a visit to Hord Coplan Macht. Frank is pictured here looking at study models in HCM’s Healthcare studio. In April, three members of HCM’s staff, including Jamie Black a 1978 grad of Boys Latin, judged their projects which included CAD drawings, 3-D computer models and physical models. Students were ranked in 12 separate categories ranging from sustainable design to model building. The student demonstrating excellence across all 12 categories receives the jury’s grand prize which included a $100 savings bond from HCM.
