The National Coalition of Girls Schools 2020 Annual Conference: Stand Up, Speak Up: Girls Using Their Voices to Engage, Empower, & Enact! is moving forward, taking place online this year. Two HCM K-12 Design Experts, Peter Winebrenner and Casey Smith, are speakers at this year’s event, presenting alongside school leadership. While the format and topics have changed from the original version, we are excited to deliver valuable information for planning the future of campus facilities.
Peter Winebrenner presented “Building Agility – Crafting Capital Projects During Times of Unprecedented Change” with Cathy McGehee, Head of School at The Foxcroft School. As The Foxcroft School begins a multi-phase project to expand and modernize their facilities, it is crucial that adaptability is kept in mind. Learn how the school is maintaining its vision for the future while preparing to respond to a constantly changing world.
Casey Smith presented “Implementable Facility Strategies for Fall 2020 Reopening” alongside Sue Sadler, Head of School at The Bryn Mawr School. There are short- and long-term strategies for that can reduce the risk of infection on campus. This session will provide a collection of facility strategies that can help protect students, teachers, administrators and staff slow the spread of COVID-19.
