The Heritage at Old Town is a multi-family redevelopment of an existing affordable housing community across three blocks in historic Alexandria, VA. The new development will deliver a mix of both market rate and affordable units as a replacement to what stands today at a higher level of density with three separate 7-story buildings that step down in scale to the surrounding context. The redevelopment will also include a new vision for the Wilkes Street Park that fronts each of the sites and serves as a public amenity to the larger neighborhood and a pedestrian link into the historic network of Old Town.
