Pete is an Associate Principal in the Higher Education Market Sector. He has over thirty years experience in education including the design and construction of new elementary schools in locations as diverse as Austin, Texas and Arlington, Virginia and higher education facilities for well known east coast and mid-atlantic universities. Pete now specializes in challenges unique to academic campus contexts and embraces the design and construction process from initial programming and brainstorming initial concepts to the final construction site visit. He takes an active role in listening to clients to learn their unique needs and cultures and works to help translate these needs into successful buildings that leverage their resources to exceed expectations. Pete also attends to all the details of how the project is scheduled, budgeted, designed, documented, specified and eventually built through a passion for architecture and education that comes through in all his work. He is an engaged practitioner who enjoys his role as a mentor to developing architects.
