Peter Winebrenner is a Principal in Hord Coplan Macht’s education studio and is a PK12 practice leader in our Charleston, SC office. He has over 25 years of experience in architecture, project management, and master planning, with a focus over the past 20 years on public and independent K through 12 educational facilities. He oversees a studio of passionate, like-minded creative design professionals, all dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the users and occupants through creating transformative learning environments.

As an active member of several educational planning organizations, he is frequently invited to give speeches and share his knowledge and insights on various topics affecting school planning and design. His passion for designing schools transcends his profession, as education is truly in his blood. Both parents, his sister and others were all educators, and he has taught architecture at local colleges and universities. His desire to create the best possible learning environments for the clients, students and faculty drives him and his team to achieve excellence on all their school projects.
